Donovan Ferreira

Donovan Ferreira is a South African cricketer born on July 21, 1998, in Pretoria. A versatile all-rounder, he is a right-handed batsman, a right-arm off-spin bowler, and can also don the wicketkeeper gloves, making him a valuable asset in various formats. Ferreira began his domestic career with Northerns and Easterns, gradually gaining attention for his aggressive batting style and ability to perform under pressure. He truly made a mark during the 2020-21 CSA T20 Challenge playing for the Titans, where he scored significant runs and showcased his all-round capabilities. His powerful hitting and all-round skills earned him recognition across franchise leagues worldwide.

Ferreira made his international debut for South Africa in September 2023 in a T20I against Australia, where he impressed with a quickfire 48 off just 21 balls. Since then, he has been noted for his match-winning performances, including a Player of the Match performance in the inaugural SA20 league representing the Joburg Super Kings, scoring an unbeaten 82 off 40 balls on debut. In the Indian Premier League, Ferreira was acquired by Rajasthan Royals.
