Johann Layne

Johann Layne, born on September 10, 2003, in Barbados, is a promising right-handed batting all-rounder and right-arm medium-fast bowler who has quickly made a name for himself in West Indies cricket. He rose through the youth ranks, representing the West Indies Under-19 team in the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Layne made his List A debut for the West Indies Academy in October 2022 and soon after made his first-class debut in April 2023. Known for his tall stature and promising bowling skills, he took a five-wicket haul on his first-class debut and has consistently impressed in the following seasons.
