John Campbell

John Dillon Campbell, born on September 21, 1993, in Jamaica, is a left-handed opening batsman and occasional right-arm off-spin bowler for the West Indies cricket team. He made his debut for Jamaica in 2013 and swiftly progressed through the ranks, including representing the West Indies under-19s in the 2012 World Cup. Known for his aggressive batting style, Campbell is an opening batsman who often takes on bowlers from the very start of an innings. He made his international Test debut in January 2019 against England and soon after earned his ODI and T20I caps in the same year. One of his standout performances came in the 2019 Ireland Tri-Nation Series, where he scored a commanding 179 runs and partnered with Shai Hope to set a record 365-run opening stand, the highest opening partnership in ODIs.
