Amanjot Kaur

Amanjot Kaur, born 25 August 2000 in Mohali, Punjab, is an Indian women’s cricket all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium. She plays domestically for Punjab (and previously for Chandigarh), and is part of the Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League. She made her T20I debut in January 2023 against South Africa, and her WODI debut in July 2023 against Bangladesh.

In her international career so far, she has shown promise with both bat and ball. In WODIs she has picked up 12 wickets in 8 matches with a best of 4/31, while with the bat she has contributed useful lower-order runs. In WT20Is she has played 15 matches, scored 162 runs including a top score of 63*, and taken 6 wickets. Her batting average in T20Is is strong, showing her ability to perform under pressure.

Strengths of Amanjot Kaur include her versatility as an all-rounder, ability to contribute in crucial moments with the bat (especially in middle-order or finisher roles), and her capability to bowl medium pace in both early and death overs.
