Darcie Rose Brown, born on March 7, 2003, in Kapunda, South Australia, is a fast bowling sensation in Australian women's cricket. Known for her raw pace and bounce, she burst into the professional scene as the youngest player to sign with the Adelaide Strikers at age 16. Brown made an immediate impact in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) debuting in WBBL|06, where her fierce bowling earned her the Rebel Young Gun award for the best player under 21. She quickly progressed to international cricket, making her T20 International debut in March 2021 and her ODI debut the following month against New Zealand. Brown made her Test debut in September 2021 and has been an integral part of Australia's bowling attack with her remarkable speed and skill.
