Shree Charani

Shree Charani, full name Nallapureddy Shree Charani, born on August 4, 2004, in Erramalle village, Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh, is an emerging young left-arm orthodox spin bowler and left-handed batter in Indian women's cricket. She represents Andhra in domestic cricket and plays for Delhi Capitals in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Charani's cricket journey began with encouragement from her family and training support from her uncle, alongside influences from cricket stars like Smriti Mandhana and Yuvraj Singh.

She made her ODI debut for India in April 2025 during the Tri-Series in Sri Lanka, where she impressed with a two-wicket haul. Charani quickly rose to prominence in international cricket with her T20I debut against England in June 2025, taking four wickets for 13 runs, becoming only the second Indian woman to take four wickets on T20I debut. In the WPL 2025, she was purchased by Delhi Capitals for ₹55 lakh and took key wickets, including those of Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh. Shree Charani's sharp bowling and calm composure have established her as a national sensation and a key talent for India's future in women's cricket.
