Aaron Hardie

Aaron Mark Hardie, born on January 7, 1999, in Bournemouth, England, is an Australian international cricketer who represents the national team in ODIs and T20Is. A right-handed all-rounder who bowls right-arm medium-fast, Hardie plays domestic cricket for Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League. Known for his versatility and impactful performances, he has emerged as a key player for both his domestic and national teams.

Hardie first gained attention in 2018 while playing for a Cricket Australia XI against India, where he dismissed Virat Kohli and scored 86 runs in the same match. He made his T20 debut for the Perth Scorchers in January 2019, followed by his first-class and List A debuts later that year. In March 2020, he scored his maiden first-class century, and in April 2022, he delivered a match-winning innings of 174 not out in the Sheffield Shield final, helping Western Australia secure the title.

Hardie made his T20I debut for Australia against South Africa on August 30, 2023, and his ODI debut shortly after on September 9, 2023. In June 2022, he also played for Surrey in England's County Championship and T20 Blast. His all-round abilities have made him a sought-after player in franchise cricket.

In the IPL 2025 auction, Hardie was signed by Punjab Kings for ₹4 crore. His ability to contribute with both bat and ball makes him a valuable addition to the team as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
