Dushmantha Chameera

Pathira Vasan Dushmantha Chameera, born on 12 January 1992, is a distinguished Sri Lankan cricketer who showcases his talent across all formats for the national team and represents Nondescripts Cricket Club in domestic cricket.

Chameera's journey in domestic and T20 franchise cricket has been marked by notable achievements. He has represented teams like Colombo and Galle in various tournaments, including the Super Four Provincial Tournament, Super Provincial One Day Tournament, and the SLC T20 League. His prowess earned him a spot in the Colombo Kings for the Lanka Premier League and attracted bids from franchises like Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL auctions. Currently, he is a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders for the IPL season 2024 and has been signed by the Galle Gladiators for the Lanka Premier League.

In the international arena, Chameera is recognized for his exceptional bowling skills as a right-arm fast bowler. He made a memorable ODI debut against New Zealand in January 2015, where he showcased his talent by claiming wickets in his first over.
