Manimaran Siddharth

Manimaran Siddharth, a talented left-arm orthodox bowler, hails from Tamil Nadu and has made significant strides in domestic cricket.

His journey in Twenty20 cricket began on 22 November 2019, when he debuted for Tamil Nadu in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Following this, Siddharth made his mark in the longer format, making his first-class debut on 9 December 2019, representing Tamil Nadu in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy. His List A debut came on 20 February 2021, again playing for Tamil Nadu in the 2020–21 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) arena, Siddharth was picked up by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2020 auction, signaling recognition of his talent on the big stage. However, his journey with the Delhi Capitals in the 2021 IPL was marred by injury, leading to his replacement by Kulwant Khejroliya. Despite this setback, Siddharth remains a promising prospect in Indian cricket, showcasing his potential as a skilled spinner.
