Sachin Baby

Sachin Baby, born on December 18, 1988, in Kerala, is an Indian cricketer who represents Kerala in domestic cricket as a left-handed middle-order batsman and occasional right-arm off-spinner. He made his first-class debut in 2009 and has since become a key player for Kerala. Sachin has captained Kerala to historic milestones, including their first Ranji Trophy quarterfinals (2017–18) and semifinals (2018–19). He holds the record for the highest List-A partnership by an Indian pair (338 runs with Sanju Samson in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy).

Sachin has been part of multiple IPL teams, including Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad again for the IPL 2025 season. In domestic cricket, he has delivered standout performances, such as scoring a career-best 250 in the Ranji Trophy and leading Aries Kollam Sailors to victory in the inaugural Kerala Cricket League in 2024, where he also won the Orange Cap with 528 runs.

Known for his adaptability across formats and leadership skills, Sachin continues to be a vital figure in Kerala cricket while proving that age is just a number with his consistent performances.
