Will O'Rourke

William Peter O'Rourke, born on August 6, 2001, in Kingston upon Thames, England, is a New Zealand cricketer known for his right-arm fast bowling. Standing at 6'6, O'Rourke generates extra bounce and can deliver at speeds of 150 km/h. He represents Canterbury in domestic cricket and made his international debut for New Zealand in December 2023 during an ODI series against Bangladesh, becoming the first England-born cricketer to play for New Zealand since Roger Twose.

O'Rourke's Test debut came in February 2024 against South Africa, where he delivered a historic performance by taking nine wickets for 93 runs, the best match-bowling figures by a New Zealander on Test debut. Earlier in his career, he represented New Zealand at the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and impressed in domestic cricket with Canterbury.
