Zeeshan Ansari
Zeeshan Ansari, born on December 16, 1999, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian cricketer known for his right-handed batting and leg-break googly bowling. He made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy and his T20 debut in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Zeeshan was also part of India’s squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
In domestic cricket, Zeeshan has played five first-class matches, scoring 117 runs with a highest score of 76 and taking 17 wickets with best bowling figures of 3/33. He also impressed in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League in 2024, claiming 16 wickets with best figures of 3/17. Known for his all-round abilities, Zeeshan was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for ₹40 lakh in the IPL 2025 auction, marking his debut in the tournament. His consistency with both bat and ball makes him a promising addition to SRH's squad.
