He rose to prominence during the inaugural Delhi Premier League (DPL) in 2024, where he took 14 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 7.83, playing a pivotal role in South Delhi Superstarz's journey to the finals. His performances caught the attention of IPL scouts, leading to his acquisition by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for ₹30 lakh in the 2025 IPL auction. Rathi made his IPL debut against Delhi Capitals on March 24, 2025, and has since played 7 matches, claiming 9 wickets at an average of 23.11, with best figures of 2/30.
