Kartik Tyagi, born on November 8, 2000, is a promising Indian cricketer known for his impressive performances as a right-arm pacer. He represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and has made significant strides in his career at a young age. Tyagi made his debut for Uttar Pradesh in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy at the age of just 16, showcasing his talent and potential early on.

One of the highlights of Tyagi's career came when he played a crucial role in India's Under-19 World Cup campaign in 2020. He impressed with his ability to move the ball around with good pace and picked up 11 wickets during the tournament, contributing to India's run to the final.

Tyagi's talent earned him opportunities in professional leagues such as the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was bought by the Rajasthan Royals in the 2020 IPL auction and made his debut for the team later that year. His performances caught the attention of selectors, and he was named as one of the additional bowlers to travel with the Indian cricket team for their tour to Australia in 2020.

In September 2021, Tyagi showcased his potential once again when he conceded just one run in the final over against Punjab Kings while defending four runs, earning him the man of the match award. Despite being released by Sunrisers Hyderabad in November 2023 after two seasons, Tyagi continues to be regarded as a promising talent in Indian cricket, with much anticipation surrounding his future performances.
