Lungisani True-man Ngidi, the dynamic South African cricketer, has made significant strides in both domestic and international cricket. Born and raised in Kloof, Durban, Ngidi's journey to cricketing stardom is marked by perseverance and dedication.

After completing his schooling, Ngidi continued to pursue his cricketing dreams while studying Industrial Sociology at the University of Pretoria. He made significant contributions to the Northerns cricket team, earning recognition as the Africa T20 Cup player of the year.

Ngidi's talent didn't go unnoticed, and he soon found himself representing prestigious T20 franchises like Benoni Zalmi and Tshwane Spartans. His impressive performances in domestic T20 tournaments earned him a spot in the Chennai Super Kings squad for the IPL, where he showcased his bowling prowess on the international stage.

In January 2017, Ngidi made his debut for the South African national team in a T20I against Sri Lanka, instantly making an impact and winning the Man of the Match award. His consistent performances earned him a place in the ODI and Test squads, where he continued to excel.

Ngidi's remarkable journey reached new heights when he made his Test debut against India in January 2018, delivering a stunning performance with figures of 7/87. He quickly established himself as a key player in South Africa's bowling lineup, contributing to their success in both Tests and ODIs.
