
Musheer Khan
Musheer Khan, born on February 27, 2005, in Mumbai, is a highly promising Indian cricketer who plays as a right-handed batting all-rounder and bowls left-arm spin. He represents Mumbai in domestic cricket and has emerged as one of the brightest young talents in Indian cricket. Musheer made his first-class debut for Mumbai in December 2022 during the Ranji Trophy and has since delivered several standout performances.
Musheer was a key player for India in the 2024 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, scoring 360 runs, including two centuries, and taking seven wickets. He was the second-highest run-scorer for India in the tournament, helping the team finish as runners-up. In March 2024, he broke Sachin Tendulkar's record to become the youngest Mumbai batter to score a century in a Ranji Trophy final. He also scored an unbeaten double century (203) in the quarterfinals against Baroda, underlining his ability to perform under pressure.
In September 2024, Musheer made his Duleep Trophy debut for India B and scored a remarkable 181 against India A. Across nine first-class matches, he has amassed over 700 runs at an average of over 50, including three centuries. Known for his calm temperament and adaptability, Musheer is regarded as a future star of Indian cricket. He is also the younger brother of Sarfaraz Khan, another accomplished cricketer from Mumbai.
