Nishant Sindhu

Nishant Sindhu, son of a state-level boxer, initially aspired to follow in his father's footsteps but found his passion for cricket upon joining the academy led by former Haryana first-class cricketer Ashwani Kumar. His talent quickly came to the fore when he made a significant impact in the U-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy in 2018-19, scoring 572 runs and claiming 23 wickets, leading Haryana to a victory over Jharkhand in the final.

Sindhu's prowess was further showcased in the 2022 Under-19 World Cup in the West Indies, where he impressed with 6 wickets from 5 games, emerging as one of the standout performers for his team.

Ahead of the 2023 IPL season, Sindhu's potential was recognized as he was signed by CSK for INR 60 Lakh, marking a significant milestone in his burgeoning cricketing career.
