Nitish Rana

Nitish Rana, born on December 27, 1993, is an Indian cricketer renowned for his dynamic performances for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League (IPL). An attacking left-handed batsman and effective off-spin bowler, Rana currently serves as the captain of the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Team. While he started as a batsman and part-time bowler, he has evolved into a formidable batting all-rounder over the years.

Rana's prowess with the bat was evident when he was named captain of Delhi in November 2018, succeeding the legendary Gautam Gambhir. He has displayed his ability to anchor innings and chase down targets under pressure. Notably, he top-scored with 53 off just 29 balls against Baroda, guiding Delhi to victory. His unbeaten 60 off 44 balls against Jharkhand showcased his ability to rescue his team from precarious situations.
