Shimron Hetmyer

Shimron Odilon Hetmyer, born on 26 December 1996, is a Guyanese cricketer renowned for his prowess as a top-order batsman in the West Indies cricket team. His leadership skills came to the fore when he captained the Windies to victory in the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Hetmyer's meteoric rise in the cricketing world earned him recognition from the International Cricket Council (ICC), which hailed him as one of the five breakout stars in men's cricket during 2018. Notably, he also holds the captaincy for the CPL side Guyana Amazon Warriors.

In the realm of domestic and T20 franchise cricket, Hetmyer's journey has been equally impressive.
