Suyash Sharma

Suyash Sharma, born on May 15, 2003, is a promising Indian cricketer known for his leg spin bowling prowess. Hailing from Bhajanpura in North East Delhi, Sharma honed his skills under the guidance of his childhood coach Suresh Batra. He started his cricket journey playing at Madras Club and DDCA club-cricket competitions.

In December 2022, he was acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹20 lakhs to represent them in the prestigious Indian Premier League (IPL). Sharma made a notable debut in the IPL on April 6, 2023, against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, showcasing his talent with three crucial wickets and helping his team secure a convincing 81-run victory. His impressive bowling figures of 3 for 30 marked one of the best performances by a spinner on an IPL debut. Additionally, he debuted for Delhi in List A cricket on November 23, 2023, against Bihar in the 2022–23 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
