Xavier Bartlett

Xavier Colin Bartlett, born on December 17, 1998, in Adelaide, South Australia, is an Australian international cricketer who represents the national team in ODIs and T20Is. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Bartlett plays domestic cricket for Queensland and Brisbane Heat, and he was signed by Punjab Kings for the IPL 2025 season. Known for his ability to take wickets with the new ball and perform under pressure, Bartlett has established himself as one of Australia's promising fast bowlers.

Bartlett first gained attention during the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and later contributed to Queensland's Sheffield Shield title win in the 2020–21 season and Brisbane Heat's Big Bash League triumph in 2023–24, where he was the tournament's top wicket-taker with 20 wickets. His international breakthrough came in January 2024 when he debuted in ODIs against the West Indies, delivering figures of 4/17 on debut—one of the best bowling figures by an Australian debutant—and earning Player of the Match. He followed up with another four-wicket haul (4/21) in the third match of the series, securing Player of the Series honors. Bartlett also made his T20I debut in February 2024 against the West Indies, taking two wickets.

Bartlett's consistent performances across formats, combined with his ability to excel in high-pressure situations, make him a valuable asset for Punjab Kings as they aim to strengthen their bowling attack in IPL 2025.
