Andy Balbirnie

Andy Balbirnie is a right-handed top-order batter from Ireland and one of the country’s most consistent performers across formats. Born on December 28, 1990, in Dublin, he made his international debut in 2010 and has since been a mainstay in the Irish batting lineup. Balbirnie has scored over 3,000 runs in ODIs and more than 2,000 in T20Is, with multiple centuries to his name. A highlight of his career came in 2021 when he struck a match-winning century to lead Ireland to their first-ever ODI victory against South Africa, cementing his status as a dependable leader and performer under pressure.
