Cade Carmichael

Cade Carmichael is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pacer who represents Ireland in international cricket. Born on August 3, 2002, in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, Carmichael moved to Ireland in 2021 with the ambition of playing for the national team. He began his domestic career with Instonians Cricket Club and quickly progressed to the Northern Knights, making his List A debut in July 2022. His consistent performances in domestic cricket, including a century against Leinster Lightning and an 86-run innings in the Inter-Provincial Cup, showcased his potential. In May 2025, Carmichael earned his maiden call-up to the Ireland senior team and made his ODI debut against the West Indies, scoring 16 runs.

Carmichael's journey to international cricket was marked by notable performances at the developmental level.
