Josh Little
Josh Little is a left-arm fast bowler from Ireland who has quickly risen to become one of the most impactful pacers in Irish cricket history. Born on November 1, 1999, in Dublin, he made his T20I debut at just 16 years old and impressed early with his pace and aggression. He burst into the ODI scene with a four-wicket haul against England in 2019 and went on to create history in the 2022 T20 World Cup by taking a hat-trick against New Zealand. That same year, he finished with 39 T20I wickets—the most by any bowler from a Full Member nation in a calendar year—establishing himself as a genuine match-winner.
Little made further headlines in 2023 when he became the first Irish player to earn an IPL contract, representing Gujarat Titans and taking 11 wickets in his debut season. His domestic and franchise experience also includes stints with Leinster Lightning, Manchester Originals, Pretoria Capitals, and Middlesex. Known for his ability to swing the new ball and execute yorkers at the death, Little was named Ireland’s Men’s International Player of the Year in 2023. With raw pace, accuracy, and temperament, he remains a crucial part of Ireland’s bowling attack across all formats.
