Keacy Carty

Keacy Uydess Carty, born on 19 March 1997 in Sint Maarten, is a right-handed middle-order batsman and occasional right-arm medium bowler who represents the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket and the West Indies internationally. He is the first cricketer from Sint Maarten to play for the West Indies at any level.

Carty began his career with the Leeward Islands under-19 team in 2013 and made his List A debut for West Indies under-19s in the 2014–15 Regional Super50. He was part of the West Indies squad that won the 2016 Under-19 World Cup, scoring an unbeaten 52 in the final and earning player of the final honors. He made his senior debut for the Leeward Islands in 2016, scoring a maiden first-class half-century shortly after.

In May 2022, Carty was named in the West Indies ODI squad and made his international debut against the Netherlands, becoming the first Sint Maarten player to represent the West Indies at senior level. He also made his T20 debut in the Caribbean Premier League in 2022. In November 2023, he was selected for the West Indies ODI series against England, where he scored a match-winning half-century and became the first cricketer from Dutch Sint Maarten to score a maiden ODI century, leading West Indies to an eight-wicket victory.
