Thomas Mayes is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and right-handed batter who has emerged as a promising talent in Irish cricket. Born on January 4, 2001, in South Africa, he relocated to Northern Ireland in 2021, qualifying for Ireland through his Dublin-born grandmother. Mayes made his domestic debut with the Northern Knights in 2021 and quickly progressed through the ranks, earning his first international call-up in 2023. He made his ODI debut against the West Indies on May 21, 2025, taking 1/23 in six overs.
