Obed McCoy
Obed McCoy, born on 4 April 1997 in Saint Vincent, is a left-arm fast-medium bowler and left-handed lower-order batsman who plays domestic cricket for the Windward Islands. He made his List A debut in January 2017 and his first-class debut in March 2017. McCoy has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket, with notable bowling performances including a five-wicket haul against Guyana in the 2018–19 Regional Super50 tournament.
He has also played in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for teams like St Lucia Zouks and Jamaica Tallawahs. In June 2021, McCoy was named in the West Indies A squad for a series against Bangladesh A, and he made his T20 International debut for the West Indies against New Zealand in August 2023. Known for his pace, accuracy, and ability to bowl effective yorkers, McCoy continues to be a promising talent in West Indies cricket.
