Shamar Springer

Shamar Springer, born on 21 September 1997 in Barbados, is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler who plays domestic cricket for Barbados. He made his List A debut in February 2018 and his first-class debut in March 2018. Springer has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket, with notable innings including a century against the Windward Islands in the 2019–20 Regional Four Day Competition.

He has also played in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for teams like Barbados Tridents and St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. In June 2021, Springer was named in the West Indies A squad for a series against Bangladesh A, and he made his T20 International debut for the West Indies against New Zealand in August 2023. Known for his aggressive batting style and ability to play big shots, Springer continues to be a promising talent in West Indies cricket.
