Tim Seifert

Tim Seifert, born on December 14, 1994, in Wanganui, New Zealand, is an international cricketer known for his aggressive batting and wicketkeeping skills. He represented New Zealand in the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup and made his international debut in February 2018. Seifert has been a key player in domestic cricket, particularly for Northern Districts, where he gained prominence by scoring the fastest century in New Zealand domestic T20 history (100 off 40 balls) during the 2017–18 Super Smash. That same season, he was the leading run-scorer in the Plunket Shield with 703 runs. He continued with Northern Districts, earning a contract for the 2018–19 season.

Seifert’s international career began with his T20I debut against England in February 2018 during the Trans-Tasman Tri-Series. He made his ODI debut in January 2019 against Sri Lanka. In August 2021, he was part of New Zealand's squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Recently, he played in New Zealand’s T20I tours of the UAE and England in August 2023 and replaced an injured Devon Conway as wicketkeeper during a T20I against Australia in February 2024.
