Tom Latham

Tom Latham is a premier left-handed opening batter and a vital leadership figure within the New Zealand national side, having recently transitioned into the role of full-time Test captain following Tim Southee’s resignation in late 2024. Born on April 2, 1992, in Christchurch, he carries a distinguished sporting lineage as the son of former international Rod Latham and has lived up to that legacy by becoming one of only eight New Zealanders to surpass 10,000 international runs.
