Tony de Zorzi

Tony de Zorzi is a stylish left-handed opening batter whose technical composure and flair have made him a vital part of South Africa’s transition into a new era. Born on August 28, 1997, in Johannesburg, he first gained attention as the captain of the South African Under-19 side before making waves in domestic cricket with a massive triple-century (304*) for Western Province. De Zorzi’s international breakthrough was equally emphatic, highlighted by a maiden ODI century against India in late 2023 and a dominant 177 against Bangladesh in 2024.
