Silver Naara Louise Siegers is a highly accomplished frontline leg-spin bowler who stands as a primary tactical weapon for the Netherlands women’s national cricket team. Born on February 14, 2000, in Haarlem, she belongs to one of the most prominent families in modern Dutch cricket, playing alongside her elder sister and former captain, Heather Siegers. Operating as a technically gifted right-arm leg-break specialist who bats right-handed lower down the order, Siegers represents a rare breed of traditional wrist-spinners on the European circuit. Her natural ability to extract sharp turn, loop the ball, and deceive batters in flight quickly earned her a reputation as a major threat in the middle overs. Siegers broke into the international arena at just 18 years old, making her formal Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut against Bangladesh in July 2018 during the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier in Utrecht. She transitioned effortlessly from a promising teenage prospect into a regular, reliable feature of the senior bowling attack. Over a highly productive international career, she has comfortably surpassed 70 WT20I appearances and racked up more than 55 wickets while maintaining an incredibly parsimonious career economy rate. Her wicket-taking capability is highlighted by career-best T20I bowling figures of 2 for 7 against Namibia. She achieved her formal One Day International (ODI) debut against Ireland in August 2022, quickly extending her defensive and attacking value across both white-ball formats.

On the global stage, Siegers has proven to be a highly resilient, clutch performer during high-stakes qualifying campaigns. She was a crucial component of the bowling group during the 2025 and 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers, helping the Dutch team navigate intense battle lines to historically secure their first-ever ticket to the main T20 World Cup tournament. Beyond her primary bowling duties, her calm demeanor under pressure has seen her deliver critical lower-order batting contributions, including a legendary, ice-cool partnership with Isabel van der Woning to secure a thrilling, last-ball victory over Thailand. Backed by extensive international experience and sharp tactical execution, Siegers remains a central pillar in the blueprint driving the Netherlands' cricket aspirations forward on the world map.
