Jacob Bethell

Jacob Bethell is a dynamic, multi-format English batting all-rounder whose explosive stroke play and useful left-arm orthodox spin have made him one of the most exciting young talents in world cricket. Since his senior international debut in 2024, he has rapidly ascended the ranks, becoming the youngest England player to score centuries in all three international formats. His ability to perform under high-pressure scenarios was highlighted during his breakthrough 2025–26 winter, where he served as a key deputy leader and demonstrated his destructive capability with a blistering 105 off 48 balls against India in the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup semi-final. Known for his tactical maturity, he also famously became the youngest-ever men’s captain to lead the England T20I side during their series win against Ireland in 2025.

Beyond the international stage, Bethell has become a significant figure in global franchise leagues, having showcased his talents in the IPL with Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Big Bash League with the Melbourne Renegades.
