Mohammad Nawaz

Mohammad Nawaz, born on March 21, 1994, in Akbarpura, Nowshera District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, is a skilled left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler, making him a valuable all-rounder for Pakistan. He began his international career in 2016, debuting in T20 Internationals against the United Arab Emirates during the Asia Cup, soon followed by his ODI debut against Ireland and Test debut against the West Indies. Nawaz quickly became known for his versatility and ability to contribute with both bat and ball across formats.

Throughout his career, Nawaz has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket and franchise leagues, notably representing Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he was one of the leading wicket-takers. His international highlights include a five-wicket haul in Test cricket against Sri Lanka in 2022 and pivotal all-round performances in the Asia Cup. Nawaz serves as vice-captain for Baluchistan and leads Northern in domestic competitions, reflecting his leadership qualities.
