Simranjeet Singh

Simranjeet Singh, born on November 13, 1989, is a seasoned cricketer representing the United Arab Emirates. He plays as a specialist bowler—a slow left-arm orthodox spinner—and bats left-handed. At age 35, he brings both experience and skill to the UAE squad, with his primary role being a consistent spin option in the middle overs.

On the international stage, Simranjeet has appeared in five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and eleven Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) for the UAE. His ODI bowling record includes 10 wickets at an impressive average of 19.90 and an economy rate of 4.23, highlighted by a career-best return of 4 for 30. In T20Is, he’s taken 14 wickets in just 11 matches, maintaining a strong average of 14.00 and an economy of 5.60, with best figures of 4 for 15.

Having last featured for the UAE during the Gulf T20I Championship in December 2024, Simranjeet was recently recalled to the national squad for the Asia Cup 2025.
