Richa Ghosh

Richa Ghosh, born on September 28, 2003, in Siliguri, West Bengal, is an Indian cricketer renowned for her right-handed batting and wicketkeeping skills. She began her cricketing journey at a young age, inspired by her father, Manabendra Ghosh, a former club-level cricketer and current umpire. Richa's early exposure to the sport and her natural talent led her to represent Bengal in domestic cricket, where she quickly made a name for herself with her aggressive batting style and proficiency behind the stumps.

In January 2020, at just 16 years old, Richa was selected for India's squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career. She made her Women's T20 International (WT20I) debut on February 12, 2020, against Australia. Her performances garnered attention, and she was subsequently awarded a central contract by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in May 2021.

Richa continued to impress on the international stage, making her Women's One Day International (WODI) debut against Australia on September 21, 2021.
