Tanuja Kanwer is a resilient left-arm orthodox spinner and lower-order batter who has become the 'reliable engine' of the Gujarat Giants' bowling department. Born on January 28, 1998, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, she made history in 2023 by taking the very first wicket in WPL history. Her 2025 season was a period of professional elevation; she maintained her reputation as a 'partnership breaker' for the Giants in the early WPL season and later earned her spot in the Indian national setup, featuring in the ODI series against Ireland in January 2025.
