Titas Sadhu
Titas Sadhu is a premier young pace-bowling talent whose technical precision and big-match temperament have made her a standout in Indian cricket. Born on September 29, 2004, in Chinsurah, West Bengal, she first gained global fame with her match-winning spell of 2/6 in the 2023 Under-19 World Cup final and later delivered a 3-wicket burst to secure Asian Games gold for India. Her 2025 season was a period of high-level activity; after appearing for the Delhi Capitals in the early WPL season, she went on to represent the national side in a high-intensity ODI series against Ireland in Rajkot. Known for her ability to swing the ball late and extract sharp bounce, Titas remains one of the few young Indian pacers capable of maintaining elite control in the powerplay.
During the 2026 Women’s Premier League mega auction in late 2025, Titas moved to a new home as she was secured by the Gujarat Giants for ₹30 lakh. This signing is a strategic move for the Giants, who have sought to rebuild their bowling core around young, high-potential Indian talent. Joining a revamped pace attack alongside Renuka Singh and Kashvee Gautam, Titas is expected to play a leading role in the Giants' 2026 campaign starting in January. As she transitions to the 'Orange and Black,' the 21-year-old speedster is poised to become a central figure in the franchise’s quest for its maiden WPL title, bringing her proven big-game experience to a squad hungry for success.
