Blessing Muzarabani

Blessing Muzarabani is a Zimbabwean cricketer who made his first-class debut for Rising Stars in the 2017-18 Logan Cup. Muzarabani was born in Murewa, Zimbabwe and started his cricket training at the Takashinga Cricket Club from the age of seven. His talent was spotted by coaches, and in 2017 he was chosen by Tatenda Taibu to tour England for three months with the Rising Stars Academy. In domestic cricket, Muzarabani has represented Rising Stars and Southern Rocks. In 2021, he played for Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League, where he took 10 wickets in 6 matches and helped the team win their first PSL title. Muzarabani made his international debut for Zimbabwe in 2017, playing his first Test against South Africa in the Boxing Day Test. He went on to make his ODI and T20I debuts for Zimbabwe in 2018. After the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament, the ICC named Muzarabani as the rising star of Zimbabwe's squad. In 2018, he made himself unavailable for national selection and signed a Kolpak deal with Northamptonshire in England. Muzarabani later returned to play for Zimbabwe. In 2020, he took his first five-wicket haul in ODI cricket against Pakistan, and also claimed two additional wickets in the super over of the same match. Overall, Blessing Muzarabani has established himself as a promising fast bowler for Zimbabwe, with his performances at the domestic and international levels highlighting his potential.
