Milan Rathnayake

Milan Priyanath Rathnayake, born on August 1, 1996, in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer known for his bowling all-rounder capabilities. He bats left-handed and bowls right-arm medium-fast, making him a valuable player in Sri Lanka's cricket setup. Rathnayake made his List A debut for Tincomalee District in the 2016–17 Districts One Day Tournament and his Twenty20 debut in 2018 for Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club. He earned his Test debut in August 2024 against England at Old Trafford, where he notably scored 72 runs batting at number nine, providing a crucial resistance for Sri Lanka.
