Sean Williams

Sean Colin Williams, born on September 26, 1986, in Bulawayo, is a distinguished Zimbabwean all-rounder known for his left-handed batting and slow left-arm orthodox bowling. He has represented Zimbabwe since 2005 and has captained the national team in all three formats—Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. Williams is renowned for his consistent match-winning performances, including multiple centuries across formats and being instrumental in many of Zimbabwe's key victories. His career spans more than 20 years, making him one of the longest-serving cricketers in international men's cricket.

Williams made an impactful debut early in his career and has since been a mainstay in Zimbabwe’s batting lineup. He holds several records, including the fastest ODI century by a Zimbabwean and multiple Test centuries, with a highest score of 154 in Tests. His leadership qualities have also been key during Zimbabwe's campaigns, and he has played in numerous domestic T20 leagues globally.
