Tony Munyonga

Tony Munyonga is a Zimbabwean cricketer born on January 31, 1999, known for his role as a right-handed middle-order batsman and off-break bowler, making him a valuable all-rounder. He began his first-class career with the Rising Stars team during the 2017–18 Logan Cup, quickly making an impression with his batting and bowling performances. Munyonga made his T20 International debut for Zimbabwe against Bangladesh in September 2019 and later debuted in One Day Internationals in August 2022, also against Bangladesh.

Throughout his career, Munyonga has represented various domestic teams including the Mountaineers and Mashonaland Eagles, contributing notably in both batting and bowling departments. He was named player of the series during the Pro50 Championship season where he excelled with the bat and ball. Munyonga's 2023-24 season was particularly successful, highlighted by a career-best first-class score of 237 runs. He continues to be an emerging talent and a key component of Zimbabwe's cricket squad, known for his consistent middle-order stability and useful off-spin.
