Hasan Nawaz

Hasan Nawaz is an exciting right-handed batter from Islamabad who has emerged as one of Pakistan’s most aggressive young batting prospects. Born on 21 August 2002, Nawaz developed his reputation through domestic cricket and franchise competitions, where his attacking stroke play and ability to score quickly made him particularly suited to the modern limited-overs game. Primarily a top-order batter, he combines clean ball-striking with the confidence to take on both pace and spin from the beginning of an innings.

Nawaz made his T20I debut for Pakistan against New Zealand in March 2025 and endured a difficult introduction, recording ducks in each of his first two international innings. His response was remarkable. In only his third T20I, he produced an unbeaten 105 from 45 deliveries at Eden Park in Auckland, reaching his hundred from just 44 balls. The innings established a new record for the fastest T20I century by a Pakistan batter and demonstrated the destructive potential that had earned him his international opportunity.

Beyond his natural power, Nawaz has worked on becoming a more complete and adaptable batter capable of assessing bowlers, reading fields and responding to different match situations rather than relying purely on predetermined attacking shots.
