Shamar Springer

Shamar Kamal Springer, born November 26, 1997, in Saint Michael, Barbados, is a versatile all-rounder known for his right-handed batting and right-arm fast-medium bowling. Springer has represented multiple teams across domestic and international cricket, including Barbados Pride, Windward Islands Volcanoes, Jamaica Tallawahs, and Barbados Royals, alongside appearances for West Indies A, the West Indies Under-19 squad, and West Indies senior T20I team. He made his List A debut in January 2015 and first-class debut for Barbados in December 2017. Throughout his career, Springer has stood out as an effective bowler and a useful middle-order batsman, with notable performances such as being the leading wicket-taker for Barbados in the 2018–19 Regional Super50 tournament with 16 wickets in eight matches.
