Kevlon Anderson

Kevlon Anderson is a talented right-handed top-order batter from Guyana who has steadily progressed through the West Indies pathway. A former West Indies Under-19 representative, Anderson impressed at youth level before moving into senior domestic cricket with Guyana and the West Indies Academy. His batting is built around a sound technique, patience at the crease and the ability to construct substantial innings, qualities that have made him particularly effective in the longer format.

Anderson's reputation grew considerably after his breakthrough in first-class cricket, highlighted by a superb 153 for the West Indies Academy in the 2023 Headley Weekes Tri-Series. He continued to produce strong performances in regional cricket, developing into one of Guyana's promising young batters and earning opportunities with West Indies A. While naturally suited to building an innings, Anderson also possesses the stroke-making ability to accelerate once settled, making him a versatile option across the top and middle order.

His consistent domestic performances eventually earned him a maiden West Indies Test call-up for the 2025 home series against Australia, and he made his Test debut in Kingston in July 2025. Although his first appearance at international level was challenging, the selection represented an important step in a career that had been built on strong first-class performances. With his composure, technical foundation and experience across West Indies developmental teams, Anderson remains a batter with the potential to establish himself more regularly at the highest level.
