Rovman Powell, born on July 23, 1993, in Kingston, Jamaica, is a powerful right-handed middle-order batsman and occasional right-arm medium-fast bowler who has become a standout figure in West Indies cricket. He began his professional career with the Combined Campuses and Colleges team, making an immediate impact by winning the Player of the Match award on his List A debut in 2015. Powell's explosive batting and all-round capabilities quickly earned him recognition, leading to his international debut in ODIs against Sri Lanka in 2016.
