Khari Campbell

Khari Campbell is a Jamaican left-arm medium-fast bowler who has worked his way from local cricket into the West Indian domestic and franchise scene. Born on March 21, 1998, Campbell is primarily an opening bowler who looks to make an impact with the new ball, while offering some ability with the bat in the lower order. He represented Norman Manley High at school level and later played club and regional cricket in Jamaica, including appearances for Surrey Royals, before earning opportunities at a higher level.

Campbell's breakthrough came in 2024 when he impressed Daren Sammy while serving as a net bowler during a West Indies practice session at Sabina Park. His accuracy and ability caught the attention of the former West Indies captain, who subsequently selected him for the Saint Lucia Kings in the 2024 Caribbean Premier League draft. Campbell made his T20 debut for the Kings that season before expanding his domestic experience with Combined Campuses and Colleges in the Super50 Cup, giving the left-arm seamer valuable exposure across multiple formats.

His career continued to progress when he moved into the Jamaica Scorpions setup, representing them in List A cricket before making his first-class debut during the 2026 West Indies Championship. Campbell's main value comes from his left-arm angle, new-ball role and ability to provide a different pace-bowling option, while his developing experience in the CPL and regional competitions has given him a platform to further establish himself. Still relatively early in his senior career, he remains a developing Jamaican quick with the opportunity to build a larger role in Caribbean domestic cricket.
