Charith Asalanka

Charith Asalanka is one of Sri Lanka’s most experienced and dependable middle-order batters and will have an even bigger responsibility in the T20I series against England after being appointed captain for the three-match contest. Originally named vice-captain for the tour, Asalanka has taken over the leadership role following Kusal Mendis’ injury absence from the T20I series.
