Sadaf Shamas

Sadaf Shamas is a right-handed batter who represents Pakistan Women, known primarily for her role in the top and middle order. Born in Lahore, Shamas progressed through Pakistan’s domestic system and caught the attention of national selectors following productive performances in domestic one-day cricket. She made her ODI debut against Ireland in Lahore in November 2022 before making her T20I debut against Australia in January 2023.

Shamas showed her potential early in her international career, scoring 72 against Ireland in only her second ODI appearance. While opportunities and returns in T20 internationals have been more limited, the longer white-ball format has allowed her to develop into a more established member of Pakistan’s batting group. Her game is built around conventional strokeplay and the ability to construct an innings, making her particularly suited to occupying an important role through the middle stages of an ODI innings.

Her development has continued with greater responsibility in Pakistan’s ODI side, and she reached a significant career milestone by registering her maiden international century against Zimbabwe Women in May 2026. Shamas followed that innings with another substantial score in the same series, underlining her growing consistency and maturity as a batter. With experience across Pakistan’s domestic competitions and international cricket, she has developed into an increasingly valuable batting option as Pakistan continue to strengthen their women’s limited-overs setup.
