Amelia Kerr

Amelia Charlotte Kerr, born on October 13, 2000, in Wellington, New Zealand, is a highly talented all-rounder renowned for her right-handed batting and right-arm leg-spin bowling. She made her international debut for New Zealand at the age of 16 and quickly rose to prominence by setting a world record in women's ODI cricket. On June 13, 2018, Kerr became the youngest cricketer, male or female, to score a double century in an international cricket match, smashing 232 not out against Ireland. In the same match, she also took five wickets for 17 runs, marking her first five-wicket haul in WODIs.

Amelia has been a pivotal player for New Zealand across all formats and was named the ANZ International Women's ODI Player of the Year in 2019. She has featured in major tournaments such as the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Women’s Cricket World Cup, and the Commonwealth Games, where she contributed significantly to New Zealand’s success, including the maiden Women's T20 World Cup win in 2024, earning Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament honors in the final. Kerr was also named captain of the New Zealand ODI team in March 2024 and has played in major franchise leagues including the Women's Premier League (WPL), The Hundred, and the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL).
